Sunday morning : met up with a friend for a lesson on how to replace thr parts that needed replacing from a previous vehicle maintenance inspection at the Makerspace.

Front & rear brake pds and rotors.
Rear struts and mounts. KYB struts made in Japan. Not ‘quick strut garbage’. FYI-Miata hardtop convertibles make gaining access to the top mounting nuts an exercise in patience.
Rear anti roll / sway bar links.

Front struts and mounts, valve cover gasket are next week. Mini cooper door lock actuator cable is very unpleasant work.

If this is, who I think it is… does the Mini still leak oil from the drain pan hole? Maybe with new struts I can get him to take the Miata out to the track for a day now!

Adam, we resolved the oil leak on his better half’s Mini Cooper Clubman from a previous meet where we replaced the brakes on it as well.

Front Miata struts are this weekend, along with a rocker arm cover gasket.

KYB gas and swapping over the springs with new boots and mounts.
