Surface Grinder Questions

I see in the Wiki the surface grinder is not yet in service. Does anyone know if it will be any time soon? Or what it will take to get it in service? Or once in service how to get cleared to use it? I’ve been a member since December or so but have not really used my membership. I’m an electrician by trade and a novice knife maker and would like to eventually learn to use most of the tools in the machine shop, but for now the surface grinder is what I need most. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

The surface grinder is in full operation. The DMS wiki hasn’t been updated in years. It isn’t a reliable source of info anymore. Paul teaches the grinder classes.

bump. Not having any luck. Is there anyone that can teach someone how to use the surface grinder?
