While this is still fresh in everyone’s mind, I figured we should probably have a review here (since it’s impractical for me to get to DMS anytime soon) going over what worked and what didn’t for SubieFest Texas 2024, and what learnings can be applied to the next car show.

So, thoughts/feedback/insights?

Thoughts on the SIM:

  • need more shade or to host it inside a trailer.
  • beginners couldn’t figure out the clutch

Other thoughts:

  • people wanted to buy t-shirts without understanding what they were. more t-shirts!
  • flyers were really helpful
  • people love stickers
  • kids like sitting in race cars

I’d say engagement was good - it was good to have a whole bunch of us there for when multiple people came by
