Sticky and stinky

Please be careful with the cement…yes, it will cement shut the cement can. I’ll bring a small thing of Vaseline to keep with the glues. If you’ll wipe the threads off with a paper towel and then run a thin layer of Vaseline on the threads before you screw the lid down, it helps keeps it from getting stuck. We do have cement thinner on hand, but please take it outside to use it…not everyone appreciates a contact high.

Thanks for fixing the stinky and sticky. You are an unsung hero. It was nice hanging with you Saturday.

This cement ain’t cheap either.

No, it’s not. Nicole has ordered us some LeatherWeld which is easier to dispense and clean up. As a good backup, for gluing prior to sewing or applying hardware, Ailene’s works suprisingly well adhering flesh sides together and doesn’t gum up needles when you sew through it like cement will.

Came into the space and the Barge cement was stuck shut again. Please be careful with that stuff and clean it up.
