For the last several months I have been examining various parts of DMS to determine where my volunteer efforts might best be used.
I have decided that the Metal Shop is where I would like to expend those efforts. As such this is my public statement of intent to run for Metal Shop Chair in the upcoming election to take place on Saturday, November 6th.
While I am not as knowledgeable as some when it comes to metal shop matters, I have formal training on the topic and past experience as a chair at DMS. The Metal Shop Committee has a wealth of experience to draw from, and should I be elected I intend to listen to and make decisions based on the will of the committee.
