What’s the Acrylic Bender for?
It heats acrylic and allows you to fold it to make acrylic things with 90 degree corners.
EDIT: I understand from Coul that it needs some mechanical repair … I vaguely recall that it’s made from (MDF?) and some of the parts need to be replaced with better plywood.
It’s also real heavy, but I would think that after we expand maybe it could go on its own table and then it would likely get used

We use more acrylic than any other committee. Due to a lack of education, almost all our acrylic projects are flat. Which is weird. My first projects were shaped acrylic. We also have a hot wire (that long olive drab thing) under the work table.
*Edit - I wish I could find that file for the business card holder. It was pretty nifty… I am not sure I remember enough to recreate it…
