We are selling the previous vending machines that were in the galley, highest bid per item emailed to [email protected] by end of saturday October 17th will get the item, pickup required. All money generated will go into DMS general fund.

Bump, there have been no bids on either vending machine so far.
Selling the rotating food vending machine in a silent auction to DMS members is not a good idea. There’s obviously not much of a market at DMS for vending machines.

Also, the cooling was disabled (i think a resistor replaced the thermistor?). That should be a pretty quick fix.
I offered to take it over an attempt to start stocking it again. In the board meeting I suggested that when it is moved to place it by the door to electronics.
At this point is is probably better to sell for $$$ to a wider audience than DMS.
Picking up on @Lampy’s comments, at least with regard tot he small beverage cooler, until we sell it mightn’t we go ahead and make sue of it, e.g. plug it in somewhere and let people store personal soda, beer, gatorade, etc. in it? I am sure some room could be made somewhere for it for the short -to-intermediate term, couldn’t it?
Are you volunteering to clean the fridge out right before we sell it? 
People are messy.
Of course. And also, if necessary, while it is in use at the Space as well. Hopefully the storage of contained liquids will not present a large challenge as far as keeping it clean goes.
So, when will bidders and winners be notified? And in what fashion?
