@dryad2b taught a great glass fusing class last night. There were four of us in the class. Below are some pictures of the work in process. It went into the kiln last night and will be ready for pickup today.

Let’s see if i can just sneak this in while it’s still April. I finished this project a few weeks ago. It’s a clone of the Mouseguard rulebook for my tabletop group. There was a lot of experimentation involved in getting the cover just right and I’m not QUITE 100% happy with it, but it’s easily the nicest thing I’ve made so far. And I learned that with the right tools, it’s perfectly possible to print on cotton fabric with a regular old inkjet.

Do you use Bubble Jet Set? I wondered how well it would work without it.

Nope! I just print directly onto clean, untreated craft store cotton and set it with a hot iron. Then I fill the fabric with wheat paste and liquid acrylic to protect it from water and glue.
I’m not certain if it would wash well without the stuff you asked about. I don’t often need to throw the books in with the towels.

Everything I own started leaking this month. Latest thing so far was my truck leaking gas…
Turned out to be the fuel tank filler neck, which is easiest to get to when you remove the bed… I recommend a large oak as an assistant.
