Photo must be a fake. Have you ever seen a clean garage floor like that underneath the engine?

When I first saw the two roll-up doors I thought “Hey, DMS was supposed to be closed!”

free-standing gas cylinder underneath the otherwise totally-legitimate ladder configuration

Good eye…

Lol the ladder system is based on gas cylinders so I image that one gets a pass for safety protocol

Running low on propane in several of those cylinders, they need a bottle swap service to come and fill them in situ.

It’s a trick question - there is no safe thing in that photo at all.

Those actually look like 30lb refrigerant recovery tanks.
He could have sold those to get the right sized ladders.

Gotta tidy up before you stage that photo for instagram.

Phosgene included.

Can’t tell if thats a 1x12 or something thicker but my buddy and I were amazed at the longevity of some wood we used to prop the body of his project 1940’s Jeep Willeys. We made some janky saw horses out of 2x4s and spanned a piece of wood between them to support the front of the body, including the engine (rear was just on sawhorses). That was close to 10 years ago and while its bowed, it and the shitty sawhorses are still standing. All outdoors with no cover or preventative measures to the wood.

Needed bigger cinder blocks for maximum support.

It’s missing the safety duct tape to secure the hoist harness to the beam.
