Shark Lathe sign off and Clausing Lathe Status

Hello, I plan on being at the Makerspace this Saturday for the Bridgeport machine side training.

I am already signed off on the Clausing lathe, but as I understand there is a separate training for the Shark DRO lathe. Is there somebody that is also planning on being at the space Saturday that would please be able to meet up and train/sign me off for the Shark lathe? Pending of the time, I know of one other person that would be interested in getting trained as well.

Also, last time I was at the space a DRO appeared to be in the process of being installed on the Clausing lathe. Is the Clausing lathe available for use?

Adam,

The sign off for the Shark lathe, for one who has already completed lathe training on the Clausing, is a ten minute demonstration of the Shark controls by some one who has experience using it. Several folks fitting this description with be in for the committee meeting Saturday afternoon.

The DRO on the Clausing is operational.
