Just putting this out there out of curiosity… We have an amazing group of volunteers working to get the Shapeoko up and running, but came up against an unexpected hurdle when it was discovered the micro-controller had been unceremoniously removed, repurposed or just taken. The wires weren’t disconnected, but cut and the little red box it was in mounted to the side of the stand is gone. From this photo that appears to have been taken at DMS, it was there at some point, however, as it sits in CA right now, there is no little red box. There has been a generous offer to donate an Arduino to replace it, but I am curious if anyone might know where the original one went?

My first guess is our thief —we know he stole from CA
We’ve replaced the electronics and reconfigured; as soon as a new case is ready we’ll likely have it up and running again.
