Seeking Volunteer to MAKE some Dallas Makerspace Laser Cut give-aways - Before Saturday (for the library event)!
Tom (@TLAR) has provided some sheets of acrylic so we can make some laser cut handouts for the event this weekend! (Thanks again Tom!!!)
I haven’t been feeling well (icky side effects from new medicine… /sigh), so I haven’t had a chance to come up with anything and get 'er done…
Who wants to come up with something quick and catchy, and then cut/etch 'em out?
A few years ago, John G (@talkers) make some neat little rulers… I have no idea where the files for those have gone; but, they were actual tiny little keychain sized rulers, with actual markings on them!
Something like that - with a small hole at one end to allow a chain or ring to go through so they can make it into a keychain would be kewl!
Or maybe make something using the following design (again with a small hole so it can be used as a keychain, etc…) - since it is both “Maker-y” and can easily fit in with the library event due to it’s ‘message’:
"LEARN CREATE INSPIRE"

@PearceDunlap ~ Do you mind if these get cut/etched without cost to the 'Space for the event? If it’s OK, please let let us know how you might want to track it (perhaps like 3D Fab is going to - with a note indicating how much was used to be placed in the payment box?)… If not, that’s fine. Just let me know and I’ll make arrangements to pay for it myself. Either way, Thanks!
