We are a B2B custom fabrication studio with a full wood shop, large table and galvo lasers, large table UV press, and acrylic fabrication. We work principally with the wedding and events industries, creating specialty items that are difficult to find elsewhere, often using unconventional processes and materials, and varying in scale from high end specialty invitations, to 45’ long modular lattice walls.
We are looking for a production lead to manage and coordinate jobs as they move through the shop. Requirements include maintaining and ordering inventory, as well as running the daily production meetings, and working with management to shepherd routine, as well as producing multi-part, multi-step jobs from approval through to completion and delivery.
We are a small studio. This is a hands on role. You will be working in the shop producing some of the projects. Flexibility and patience are essential. Being able to balance starting a task on one machine so you can go work on another is important. Events do not allow for late delivery, and so we sometimes find ourselves making things work on the fly, through no fault of our own.
We get to make cool things, play with amazing tools, and solve interesting problems - but production is production, and clients are clients no matter where you work.
You do not need to know how to do everything in the shop, but a broad skillset and ability to learn quickly is essential. Attention to detail is a must.
