Seeking *local* source for West 2-part Epoxy

Does anyone have a local source for West brand 2-part Epoxy? Thanks.

I always bought it at Rockler in St Louis. Call them to see if they stock it here as well.

Matt … do you use the fast hardener or the slow hardener? Also, do you ever use any colloidal silica to make it less runny?

There’s a store in Garland, too - on I-30. I used a ton of it repairing an old fiberglas sailboat back in the late 80’s - different additives for different needs  http://www.westsystem.com/ss/filler-selection-guide/

I normally use the fast hardener but have both. I also have one of the additives. If you want to try them I can bring what I have in tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer. Today I found myself near West Marine so I bought the resin and the fast hardener (and the pumps) but I didn’t buy any additives. I don’t have a specific project on the bench right now, so it’s hard for me to determine which additive would be useful. If you could please just let me know which one you have, then I will likely buy that when I need to use it.

I’ve used the West System, like most two part systems the room temp makes a lot of difference. I always made a very small test batch to test the pot life after ruining about 1.5 quarts that set up so fast and got so hot I’m surprised in paper mixing cup didn’t catch fire. It was in the summer, did the same batch in the winter and no problem.
