*Mammograms should start at 40 and occur yearly? As it turned out, when conventional medical orthodoxy was replaced with data-driven studies and conclusions, starting at 50 with a two year frequency (i.e. far less radiation exposure) resulted in same-or-better health outcomes on average.
Anytime you hear someone say that “the science is settled”, about all you can know for sure is that: 1) they don’t know squat about science or the scientific method, and 2) they are probably an idiot.
