When I was at DMS Saturday afternoon, I noticed that the SawStop angle gauge was way off vertical.
At first I thought someone had left the saw 10 degrees off vertical (very much NOT being excellent). After verification with the digital gauge it turns out the blade was vertical but the gauge was loose.
I realigned and tightened the gauge’s red pointer, but it might need a locking washer or some thread lock to stay firmly in place - even after tightening it didn’t seem really solid.
It was working when I left it, but perhaps this could be added to the maintenance list for the next shop day.
