I’m not sure this is the right place to ask but the sand blaster is listed under “Metal Shop” so I thought this is a good place to start.
Is any training required (or available) for the sand Blaster? I’d like to etch some glass using a vinyl mask.

Never mind. I found the answer in another group.
thanks
What was the answer?
I found a reply under “Workshop/Metal Shop” (see below). She got them to give her the basics in a couple of paragraphs.

“Hi, I am new to Makerspace and am interested in using the sandblasting cabinet. Is there anyone who would be willing to give me a quick rundown on how to use it before I am left to my own devices? Or is it so easy that I should have no problem?”
Thanks. I made a wiki page from that talk page!
It was really that easy too (I was the OP from the other thread).
However I was there last week to use it and we were really low on media for the cabinet so you might want to check on that before you get started. I’ll submit a ticket for it to see if we can get more.
Thanks for adding the wiki page! Based on some recent experiences, I would suggest adding something along the lines of:
“If holding your finger over the nozzle does not improve flow (and there is media in the cabinet) try squeezing the trigger down tighter. It is taped down for ease of use, but sometimes the tape comes loose and doesn’t open the nozzle fully”
Or something similar to that. I don’t have access to update the wiki page, or I would add it myself
You should have access. It just requires a Dallasmakerspace.org account, which you likely already have.
Submit 2 tickets if you need help with access to the Wiki (the other being the blast media request you already mentioned).
Or post here for peer assistance, if it’s not a technical issue.
