I bought a used car (2006 so nothing fancy needed, I think) and it definitely needs a new windshield. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I don’t think this is something I personally feel like doing.
Contact your car insurer and ask who they use and if you can get their pricing.
Yeah. I don’t have any recommendations either, but it is a major PITA, and probably well worth having someone else do it.
Agree. It looks easy by people that do it all the time. Helped a friend once. Never again.

I’ve had windshields replaced and repaired on different vehicles via Titan Glass.
They will come to you for the repair or replacement and can do it in an hour or so - very convenient. I’ve had chips on three windshields repaired and one complete replacement - zero issues.
They are based in Plano but I believe they will work all over DFW.

Solved. I had someone PM me a recommendation, it’s already complete. Someone came out it was super easy like Hank mentioned.
