Requirements for lift use

Hi everybody!

I have a friend who’s thinking of joining the makerspace, but he’d like to know what the requirements are to use the lift in the automotive department. I know nothing about that entire section, so could someone help me to answer that?

You pay one of the lift trainers $50 to take a quick class, take a multiple choice test, and then you’re set to use the lift. You also have to be a member to do that as well.

To be fair, you pay the Automotive Committee $50, and attend a training session with an authorized trainer. I bring this up because the money goes to the committee, not the trainer.
So maybe bring 'em a beer sandwich or something for after…
