Refrigeration temp monitoring

Hi all. I am looking for a temp monitoring solution for my hobbies. I’m looking for some input to see if anyone is happy with something like the Sensor Push or Inkbird temp data loggers. I had some experience with Inkbird…worked okay, but the bridge is fickle…and Inkbird interfaces tend to not be great. SensorPush is the same format as the Inkbird, but 4 times the cost. I am monitoring air temps for freezers, refrigerators, humidors, cheese cave and kegerator.

My requirement is something that can be checked remotely. I’m not opppsed to a bridge to bring them all together.

Thank you for your input.

Look into Hobos. Used to use them pretty regularly. Can’t really compare the others to the ones you mentioned because I’ve never used those.

This is something I know something about.

Look at Dragino temperature sensors and put a little raspberry Pi LoraWAN gateway in.

Thank you. Could you recommend a gateway? My initial Google fu pulled up a couple around $150. Not fully out of consideration, but a little more than I expected to get started.

Thank you for the recommendation. This looks like a very well made and supported product. But over $100 per sensor might be a little pricey for hobbyist consideration.

But I’m glad you pointed it out. If I get back into a commercial setting and want to monitor, this looks like an affordable solution for commercial consideration.

I’ll PM you.
