I read a blurp on zip lock bags that said the could be recycled with grocery bags. That got me to thinking (setting off the smoke detector) can we put bad ABS print in the plastic recycle trash? I would like to be a green type of person, and wondered if it was a good idea?
I don’t think they can recycle plastic without the appropriate recycle symbol. While YOU may know what the plastic scrap is made from, they won’t.
In addition, the DMS recycling isn’t recycling any of the grocery bags. Those can be recycled at some grocery stores. Walmarts are pretty good about having a bin that is set for the grocery store bags. But, they’d probably toss the bad print into the garbage since they wouldn’t recognize it.
