Reactivating RFID Fob

Got my membership sorted out, I appreciate yall’s help :grin:

New hiccup tho: I still have my RFID keychain fob, but it doesn’t have any letters/numbers on it. I went to the badges website to reactivate it, but it requires a badge number, which I’m assuming is the RFID tag’s number. Is that something I need to do up there? And if so, is anyone available this week who can do that?

It might be easier, with the badge reader in the common room (I’m assuming there’s one in there again/still - we try to keep on there for just such purposes).

Two options here:

  • you can get a new fob which has the numbers legible on it. Usually try to keep a few spare in the mailbox outside the front door for this reason.
  • if you can get into the space, we have USB RFID readers that can read the number of into the activation box. This will allow you to either keep using your old one or a new one easily.
