Does the Dallas Maker Space have any people that host welding classes? I have a friend wbo is very interested in learning the trade as a hobby, and I remembered that this place had a few classes way back then.
Does it still have classes that are running? I didn’t see any in the upcoming events, so I was wondering. Thank you for any responses!
I have already done the MIG welding class a while ago. Sooner or later I would like to also learn TIG welding as well.
@Team_Metal_Shop might have some insight on that.
I could put up a TIG class if we have enough folks wanting it. Let me look at my calendar and see when I have free.

If a class showed up on the calendar on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, I would sign up. I’m not quite sure what department welding is in though, and if I even have the prerequisites to sign up for the class
It’s in the Metal Shop, you’ll need to take the Hot Process class which if I’m not mistaken has a moodle course now.
