I wanna print a bigger piece in TPU on the H2D but even after fiddling with the slicer options i can only get it down too 52 hours of printing. Are there any restrictions on the amount of time you could take up a printer?
OR any restriction with TPU printing on the H2D , other than not loading it into AMS
Thanks
Hello,
TPU on the H2D in general needs tubing and possible nozzle changes. TPU on the H2D cannot just go from an external into the machine as the buffer that has a tension sprint is inside the machine as opposed to outsde like the X1C and P2S. Thefore to print any TPU we have to redo tubing to bypass the buffer.
As for hours anyhting that long would require prior approval from a vicechar/chair. Does y ou model really need the bed size of the H2D?
What softness of TPU are you looking to use? 85, or lower or higher hardness?
I was hoping to print TPU 95A as it’s softness works best for my application , and I was hoping to print this in once solid piece
Due to the size and the need for PLA supports the h2d is best for this application
So would this be possible? Thank you for your time
Hello, Will have to setup a time to meet at the space and discuss.
Sure , does this week work?
Hello, Yes this week works for evenings in gnerally 5:30PM or later on weekdays. FYI after yours and some other inquires did some research and found a method that should not require tubing changes and put that in place yesterday during Mainteance day. You can be first to test with TPU.
