Please note scheduled blocks are only for time on the presses, and include any set up, break down, and cleaning. Plan accordingly so everyone can have their full 1 hour of time on the press as scheduled.
You need to have your laser plates already burned, sealed, and dried before arriving for your scheduled printing time slot. We do not have any time reserved or set aside on the lasers.Please make sure your plate conforms to the approved thicknesses as taught in the Laser Block printing class.
For those wanting to burn screens, there is a class in the Lecture Hall from 12 noon to 3:30 pm. You will need to come in before that to use the exposure unit, or see John Gorman to try and squeeze you in during the class to use the equipment.
Lino/block cutting tools will be available to carve on rubber or linoleum for feedback and test hand printing.
