Plexiglass cutting

I have small pieces of plexiglass that I need to shape but need to know if I have to take any classes before I can use the equipment?

If you have had wood shop basics you can use the equivalent tools not eh plastics shop such as the bandsaw, table saw, drill press and sanders . The shapeoko and nomad require training . Keep in mind we do not have automatic dust collection in the plastics shop and you will need to clean up the significant mess that acrylic leaves on your own.

Also the vertical belt sander is bring your own belt . It takes 2”x42” belts .

Thank you Kevin! I have taken the woodshop class. I have personally used all of the equipment but needed to if DMS required special training. I will make sure I keep the area clean!!
