Just saw this. I’ve never seen that happen other than when the torch height control isn’t working. Symptom is it starts the cut then Z axis goes too low and the head crashes into the part, but XY axis drives keep trying to move the head. Using the ground clamp on the part might help, also if the stock is flat you can turn off THC.
