Many moons ago, I put together a meet up when a group of DMS peoples went to Makerfaire in the Bay Area - I made this list, possibly some people are traveling and might want to pop in to some of the places

My father in-law lives in the Bay Area. He told me the last time he was here that they did not have a Makerspace at the scale we have. Bunch of smaller spaces, he made it sound like there wasn’t much wood shop stuff. Travis Air Force Base, used to have a wood shop that Service members could use but they shut it down several years ago.
