I never thought of describing a cutter as “Mean” but this thing qualifies for sure. I don’t think I’d even want to pick it up for fear that it might attack me. ha ha.

Ran across something similar in a aerotech mag - called it a “porcupine milling cutter”.
Lots of inserts and $$$$

Watch Titans of CNC on YouTube if you want to see mean cutters. Also metal removal rates that are stunning, 60+ horsepower removing 1800 lbs of material in a couple hours. Chips coming down like rain.
