Old grinding belts

Can anyone (wood turning folks?) use a box of old, but new 1 x 44" grinding belts? I can’t use them on the belt grinder I picked up as the just pop open at the seam within seconds. They come in various grits.

I have new ones coming in from Amazon for my belt grinder.

Zero. I can bring them tonight.

Just hate to see them being thrown away as the only thing wrong is that they won’t run in a circle on my grinder.
