So for those, like myself, that would benefit from commercial creative softwares at a discount rate, I suggest to volunteer at an institution or work to get DMS involved in that sense in order to benefit the greater group of volunteers here to gain such benefits.

I took the deal and bought Affinity. It’s UK, and a pretty good sub for Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. There are shortfalls, but for most tasks Affinity is plenty able, and it’s a 1 time ownership price.
