Oil Spill at lathe

I noticed this today, a tipped over oil brush container. It’s a safety hazard to have oil spilling out into the walkway outside machine shop and folks need to clean this sort of thing up when it happens.

There’s now a bag of oil absorbing material (aka floor dry) on the wall near the lathe for future use.

Thank you taking care of this.

The floor dry will need to be swept up; I left it down to soak things up for awhile and had to leave for the day.

Has any additional oil leaked since this clean up? Is there any obvious leak point from the control levers on the transmission face? Is oil level still visible in the oil level sight glass?

Regards,
Bob

Bob, I’ll be around today and can check, but I’m pretty darn sure the oil spill came from that tipped over container visible in the picture.
