NYT: Cryonic Preservation of a Young Cancer Victim

Kim Suozzi died of cancer in 2012. NYT reports on the process that she and her significant other went through to preserve her brain cryogenically, in hopes of reviving her, some day. Several researchers in this field have recently published papers in respected science journals on their brain research techniques.

I know it will sound insensitive,

But they should have preserved her entire head, and a large chunk of her spine still attached.
