Notary (looking for one)

Looking for a notary, best options? Im putting my house on the market and have to notarize a couple of things.

Kris, you may want to check with your bank. I know the Wells Fargo near me has one.

Real estate and insurance offices usually have them also, but banks are probably safest bet. If a customer, no charge,

Won’t be able to help you today, but for future reference I’m getting my real estate license (mostly for S&G) and notary. Should be done first week of October.

Also, most fancy hotels have a notary on site. Just tell them you’re a guest and need a doc notarized. #LifeHack

Chase bank, Legacy Bank, Regions Bank (and I suspect most banks) have multiple Notaries on staff. The banks I mentioned don’t charge for notarizing if you have an account there.

I’ve successfully used all of the above at one point in my life or another for by-mail closings on real estate.

I recommend calling the branch ahead of time, since not everyone at the bank is a Notary.
