New Pricing for the Babylock Embroidery Machine Usage

This is an ATTEMPT to see if we can make the use of the baby lock more accessible for members while still controlling the cost of the machine usage. Things might change. Please understand the % taken with paypal makes smaller donations a bit painful so cash donations are preferable. Please understand this change was to make costs more reasonable/easier to understand for most members. If it is off let me know - communicate and we will reevaluate. Next class is tomorrow May 17th

The babylock has a timer but we trust you to make the best choice with using the machine/supplies.

DMS will provide the stabilizer, pre-wound bobbin, and machine usage for free. (however donations always accepted)

If you use the thread provided we have three price structures:

Small/simple job that will take 15m and under: $1 donation is asked

Medium job that will take 15-30m will be $2-3 a job

Large/complex job that will take 30m+ will be $4-5+

I like the concept but I fear the pricing is too low. I think the jobs should be designated as square inches of stitching rather than time. Most jobs that will fit in our hoop will take less than 15 minutes, placing them in the $1 category. For instance, I have a shark that I stitch frequently. It has 5709 stitches. It is about 2 square inches of stitching. It runs for about 9 minutes (not including thread changes). By stitch count it would cost $3. By the new pricing structure it would be $1.
