NEW Member, Looking for classes

Hi, I am Adam. I am beginner. I do not have any knowledge or experience with woodworking.

Can you help with with starter classes. My ultimate goal is to learn how to make tables (coffee, dinning, conference, side table etc) with wood and Resin combo.

I am usually available available starting 7 pm on weekdays and early afternoon during weekends.

Please also advise when a committee meeting is scheduled. Its not on the calendar.

Adam,
I have a class on Thursday evening. It’s 4 nights over 4 weeks, we convert the basic and help you develop the skills need to make what your goals are. There is constrain coaching and I help you develop the skills needed to join boards: recover the joiner planner table, saw router table, handheld router, and chopsaw. After the class you will be more confident in the use of the tools and wood working skills.

Hi Adam, I’m Eve.
Have you taken the Woodshop Safety & Orientation yet? There are usually a couple classes offered per week. They do fill up quickly—especially the evening ones—but there are MANY people who sign up then cancel, so keep checking even if it says the class is full. If your schedule permits, check an hour before class starts: a lot of people cancel last minute. I’ll take walk-ins because I don’t mind bigger classes. (I’m teaching a class Thursday at 6:45 and 2 people have already cancelled)

The Woodshop Basics is for all levels from complete beginner to experienced craftsperson. For your first project, I recommend something simple. Start small and build on your successes. Trying something too complicated is setting yourself up for disappointment!

Periodically I offer entry-level project classes. I don’t have any on the calendar at the moment.
