VECTOR will present two new classes this week in the VECTOR area. These classes focus on the understanding of games, rather than the repair or restoration of games. As of now there will be 2 classes, “Understanding Pinball Games”, and “Understanding Arcade Games”. The classes with present information on the history of the game, any restoration required/completed, explanation of game mechanisms, scoring, and how to play the game. This Wednesday, Feb 21, at 7 pm in the Vector area, Shawn Christian and Chuck Baber will talk about the Bally-Midway game, “Strange Science”, (pinball). On Thursday, Feb 21 at 7 pm Jayson Woods will talk about the Williams arcade gun game, “Ambush”. These classes will be repeated on Feb 28 and March 1 respectively. Note the March 1 class will start at 8 pm. Come over to VECTOR, learn about games, and have some fun! Both games are currently available for free and open play in the VECTOR area.
