A new counter top oven has been installed and I’m taking this opportunity to remind everyone of a few ground rules:
- This is for food only.
- You must clean up thoroughly after yourself. This includes the rack, drop pan and anything else involved in your cooking endeavor.
- It’s a shared resource so please do not monopolize the unit. Some functions might not be suitable for this environment because they are long running, e.g. dehydrate or slow cook for instance.
The recently acquired small and basic unit that was in this location is now in the auction pile. If a DMS committee has a use for it please go ahead and take it.
Thanks!

Would that unit be suitable for baking small powder coat items?
Perhaps however the unit that was used for non food items was already given to powder coating. I don’t think they need two
@Team_Creative_Arts … Do we have a suitable oven for polymer clay?

May I suggest that those rules be printed, laminated, and posted directly adjacent to the oven? In large font size, bolded, and in multiple languages?
Okay, maybe not the ‘languages’ part, but when to comes to misuse/abuse at DMS…
