The intro course lists Neoprene in the allowed materials module as “acceptable”.
However, it is listed under “NEVER CUT THESE MATERIALS” in source.
Seems like the course needs to be updated.

I think you’re correct… I could be mistaken, but I believe neoprene forms hydrogen chloride which converts to hydrochloric acid when it hits the moisture in your eyes / nose.
