We need someone to give science committee advice on audio/recording equipment, lighting and cameras. Please let us know if the space already has this equipment. I know that we already have some of it, but we could use guidance on best practices as well.
Our needs are as follows:
- Decent quality clip-on microphone that allows for significant mobility without causing a bunch of audio issues and boom sounds.
- Lighting set-up for a whiteboard instruction video or a video taking place in the science lab. We want good lighting that doesn’t produce shadows under the eyes or anything like that.
- Video editing software
- Software for creating music for the video
- Decent camera for recording videos and a tripod that allows for ease of horizontal movement.
If anyone has any experience with video production, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
