In need of a plasma class to be able to use plasma cutter. I have a welding/Fabrication/Waterjett background.
I need to cut something saturday morning, probably around 11am and could give you and anyone else interested a class on the plasma.

Because – I don’t see you on the “Welding Safety” group in Active Directory. Well, not by this name.
“Hot Process Safety” by any other name.
There were three people already checked on the plasma and we had a refresher, also found the ohmic sensor not making good contact with the shield so the head would come down, hit the part pretty hard, and go back up with an encoder error message. Replaced the holder thingy and it worked after rhat.
First symptom is when you screw the shield on there is no change in force when the shield goes up under the electrical contact lever, you could feel the new one a lot more snug.

We had that issue Friday evening. We figured it was because it was the fine cut shield. I’d like to see a better solution than replacing a cap or cup.
