Metal Shear, Grinder, Sander

I used the shear and grinder today and I’m IN LOVE!!! I asked Lee about using the grinder with non ferrous metals and he said it’s fine. He’s ordered replacement discs for the sander so I haven’t tried it yet. The shear is 12" wide and cuts beautifully! I’m not sure about the maximum thickness but I cut 16 gauge brass no problem. And the grinder is amazing! I’ll be doing workshops for the new equipment, especially for jewelry purposes :slightly_smiling: Thanks so much Lee!

You are going to love them! I almost went back last night just to cut and grind stuff, haha!

12 in is better, the one I was using was 10 in. I intend to be out tomorrow afternoon/nite, after I go to my clay class in the morning

Does this mean I don’t have to hand-saw each square for classes?

You don’t have to, but you can still do so if you feel it adds karma to the projects.

Is there any restriction against cutting fiberglass PCBs (nominally 0.0625" thick) on the metal shear?
