Membership cost

I did a tour yesterday. But I forgot to ask how much is to become a member?

Is training part of the membership…I just ask because I saw a woman sign the waiver and was escorted to the training while I was taking my tour. I figured she wasn’t a member…

Some of the classes at DMS are open to members, others to the public. The biggest problem is if there are tools involved as most are restricted to member use only.

I see it was the pottery section…I guess that public…my friend thinking about doing art class…she would like to know if that also to the public?

Contact the instructor.

I’m still trying to figure this forum. How do I contact the instructor for specific departments?

There aren’t any for specific departments.

I’m one of the fine arts instructors. There are 3-4 of us. It depends on the instructor if the class is open to the public or not. I opened my calligraphy class to the public but sometimes my drawing and watercolor classes are only open to DMS members due to supplies. If you have further questions I’d be happy to point you to the instructor the class may fall under.

She may have joined online before setting foot on the premises. Showed up without enough time to make a badge before her class.

Depends…some training classes require payment and some are free.
