First meeting can be a get to know you, and we can get some HF wire antennas thrown up in one of the classrooms to demo for interested non-hams that happen to wander by.

Yeah, I proposed it and then let it lapse. I’m headed out of town for a week on business, so I’m not sure if I can work it in this week before I leave again.

I’ve scheduled the Lecture hall for the 18th at 6pm until we are bumped out by Walter’s Colchester 101 class at 7pm!
I’ll bring my smaller, portable HF rig and an SDR setup for people to listen/tune around a bit. I’ve got a 20m wire antenna that works reasonably well for the HF rig, even indoors, to listen.
