Our country needs ventilators. I’ve seen news reports of people designing and making them at home. These are extraordinary times and I know there are extraordinary people at DMS. Could we collaborate to design an easy to build ventelator? It would have to use readily available raw materials and perhaps could be powered by a simple 12v brushless motor or a 7.4v servo.
I have a simple control system that runs on Arduino UNOs and MEGAs and ESP32s. Happy to work night and day until it is modified to this purpose.
I do understand the full richness 
of FDA medical device approval. What if we could coop-up a design that could be built by the hundreds per week? I can find the qualified people that would take point on regulatory difficulties.
