Major Android Phone Exploit - Code Named "Frightmare" with link to fix

Greetings DMS Tribe,

I was warned this morning by my phone’s antivirus app (AVAST) that there is a fairly major security hole that affects a few devices (approximately 1 billion) that run on Android.

Here is the link I used to address this - please research this on your own first and use at your own risk, but it is a fairly innocuous change as to how multimedia messages are pushed to your text messaging app.

If I was reading this issue right, those changes only prevent the virus from automatically infecting your phone. If open the MMS manually you will still get infected.

I miss the old dumb flip phones…
