Can you elaborate on what you’re looking for?

What’s your budget?

The photo shows Oak and Mahogany.

Looks fairly simple but I assure you it’s not… there will be hundreds of hours work.

Budget 1200-1300 plus cost of the wood

Heres a link to the actual listing on etsy for more information for anyone interested in trying to take on this project.

Why would a much larger unit only cost close to half as much? When I first saw this post, a price of $2,800 to $3,400 came to mind.

I was at $4500.00 for a 55” TV.

The Etsy price included a TV and shipping, actually.

They also have a listing for a 55" version that includes TV, a sound bar, and shipping for ~$3900. If one estimates shipping @ ~$500 and TV+soundbar @ ~$750, that would make similar build without these items ~$2650, give or take…more if my estimates for shipping/insurance and TV are too high. I am sure the folks on Etsy have this down to a science, possibly even a CNC-driven build, so having someone else design/build from scratch, i.e. recreating the wheel, will add expense.

I’d contact the Etsy guy and see if he is willing to build/ship one without the TV and etc. I doubt anyone starting from scratch can do it for lower cost than they can.

The etsy builder is using insignia equipment so the tv and soundbar would be about $350.

The tv: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-55-class-f30-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-fire-tv/6450247.p?skuId=6450247

Sound bar: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-2-0-channel-soundbar-black/6429414.p?skuId=6429414

When I freight shipped a big ass smoker from here to Baltimore, it was only $250, so that would only be about $300 - $325 for shipping.

So take $3900 minus $675, the actual build price without equipment would be $3225.

geez…a 55" 4K (who really needs it?) TV for 250. I think my all actual-real cotton sheets cost about that…lol.

Which puts @SWA’s estimate right on target.
