I’m looking for Mason, whom I met in Ceramics last night but IDK his last name or Talk handle. I want to pass along the following information:

According to the manufacturer, here is some info about the X-Carve CNC router (which Woodshop recently received as a donation but which is not yet in service):

Pretty sure we don’t have Easel Pro but IMO this is the easiest path for you to carve your map because it will allegedly use the stl file that you already have!

Easel pro has a 30 day free trial that is fully functional . We cannot get a makerspace license for easel pro as they license by user and not by machine . And yes it will make tool paths from an stl. They are not as well optimized as fusion or v carve but they will do the job.
