Livestream Help! Please Help!

So due to some miscommunication errors, I no longer have a computer capable of controlling the livestream and without the computer we no longer have an event. I would be very appreciative if someone let’s us borrow their computer from the 14th to the 22nd.

I will try my personal best to ensure your computer is safe and that any damage done to it is payed for. In fact all participants do have to sign a document stating that any damage done to the equipment must be payed for by the person who broke it.

The event starts tomorrow at noon so I would either pick it up tonight or early tomorrow morning. Then from the 14th to the 22nd, your computer would stay in the Digital Media room under surveillance.

Please Help! I have spent over a year planning this event and need this computer. Thank you to all who respond.

Does it matter if it is a tower unit or not? I have a slightly older computer I have not used in a while, but it is not a laptop (e.g. not very portable). Also, I would have to pull it out of storage (easy) and reinstall Windows 7 (a little harder/time consuming) as it has quite a number of personal/proprietary files on it. This would take some time but I am happy to do it if it can help.

It does not matter if it is a tower or not. Also could you tell me some of it’s specs? for example how much ram there is and what the cpu is.

Looks like it is a:

  • Dell Dimension 8400 Series
  • w/Intel Pentium 4 Processor 660 (3.6GHz) w/HT Technology
  • w/1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz (min i maybe installed more)
  • w/2MB cache.

Great! One more question, once we have the computer can we swap the hard drive with one of our other computers? Once the event is done we will swap them back.

Sure…but switching to PM now.

ok. until we’re fully confirmed i’m going to go ahead and leave this open for others.

I have a machine that can be used. If your still looking.
