Another way to design for the Epilog.
Lightburn has been loaded on the Fusion workstation as an alternative to Inkscape and Affinity Designer.
Lightburn usually considered the software that controls the Thunder Lasers. In reality, it is a reasonably complete SVG graphics editing package. It might have limits more advanced users will encounter, but many times it can get the job done. This was done in an effort to reduce the friction members encounter when learning how to use the Epilog.
Lightburn has been configured to the correct dimensions to reflect the Fusion’s bed size.
Design your item as you would for the Thunder, use the layers to manage graphic elements, but do realize that you will be managing the speed and power settings in the Epilog driver.
I expect there will be issues encountered that will require workflows to be developed. If nothing else, it will flatten the base learning curve while learning the Epilog’s basic functions.
Running the Job:
Instead of pressing the send button in Lightburn, you will select print to the Epilog, just like when using any other software package with the Fusion.
